Just spot price of silver for those coins is over the amount you paid. And some of those are worth over their melt price so a good deal if I ever saw it! :D nice find!

Not sure what that is in US money but that L thing in front of 16 sounds like you got a fantastic deal.

OK so I'm trying to build a collection of silver coins by selling modern foreign currency, that I have accumulated over the years. This group of coins cost under £12 ($15 approx).

The Barber quarter is a 1908 'o' mint
The dime is 1899 but someone tried to put hole through it, but did not manage it. The 2 south African shillings (1894 & 1896) are in a really good condition, was this a good deal?

The 1976 quarters are clad.

This group of coin I brought from a local market trader I paid £10.50 ($13.50)

The 1941 dime is in fantastic condition. The 1918 2 francs seems to be uncirculated.

The Chinese coins are 7.2 candareens kwang-tung province and kiang nan province. Again was this a good deal?

Another silver coin to add to my small collection. I managed to buy a 1971 s-mint Ike dollar for £3 including postage (about $3.79).

Those are some great buys IMO. I'd like to see a better picture of that old hammered coin in the second posting.

Same here! The one that is below the dime. Post pictures of this coin by itself, reverse and obverse.
