I have weighed all my 1973 dimes and have one that weighs 2.21g. Please help! TIA

I would say that it's within mint tolerances.

However, it could have been struck on a Barbados 10 cent planchet (copper nickel, 2.26 grams).

Is it magnetic?
If it is then it's a normal 1973 dime (99% nickel), if it's not it might be the Barbados planchet (75% copper, 25% nickel).

That's about 7% overweight.
Too much IMO.
"Dipping" is not considered cleaning...
