1972 S LMC Common Doubling But Only The Second Example I Have Seen.

I have this 1972 S LMC with common doubling except only common on the D's and P's. I have many, many 1972 S's and this is only the second one I have seen. Question, is it common to see this common doubling on the ones minted in San Francisco?

About 50% of the 1972-S roll I went through last night had the master die doubling, some quite nice and strong. Your mileage may vary

This Master Die Doubling affected all 3 Mints, so yes, it would be very common.
