The style, the way in which it is « worn » (not in an homogeneous way across the surface), even this strange patina. I wouldn't bid for it in an auction... Report this Post to the Staff

echizento Moderator United States 23731 Posts	Posted 11/17/2018 8:23 pm It does IMO it looks like it might have had some environmental damage which might have caused roughness to the surface and than the surface was smooth to enhance the appeal of the coin. The only way you will know for sure is to send it off to David Sear who will certify it genuine or not. Report this Post to the Staff
