Hi everyone, I have a 2009 presidential gold dollar that is not gold in color. It it silver. I cannot find another one like it anywhere online. does anyone know what I may have? I appreciate it.

Hello. I'm a new member, but I may be able to provide some insight on what you are asking about.
First off people here appreciate it if you post pictures of your coin. Preferably the obverse (front) and reverse (back). As for your coin, it sounds like you might have a plated coin. One way you can tell if it's plated is by checking the edge of the coin. If it is silver like the rest of the coin it is plated. If it is the original gold color it could be something else. Telling us what the edges color is would be very helpful. Again, Pictures would help us out. Good luck!
