Hello. I've been searching all my copper today and I came cross this 1978 cent which I believe to be a WDDO-001, due to the "extra thickness". I'm not sure if this is the "thickness" Wexler is describing, so I came here. It could be a worn die. I would appreciate anyone's input! Thank you and happy hunting.

I submitted the 1978 WDDO-001 to Wexler and my example has slight notching on the R in TRUST, which I cannot see on your coin. I don't think this is WDDO-001. It does look like there might be slight extra thickness to the 7 (it's really hard to tell so I'm not 100% sure), see if you can match any die markers. CopperCoins lists 4 similar DDOs for 1978.

Thanks. It seems thicker to me but I can't tell.
