I recently moved into my parents house and found these coins in the top of my mom's closet. I don't know anything about them. I was thinking I would give them to my son when he gets older...I'm assuming they were my grandfather's. But I'd like to know what exactly I'm giving him. I doubt they are worth much because my mom left everything she had of value in her will, but are they particularly special? Here is what is on the certificates: YF-22 Rollout Advanced Tactical Fighter One Troy Ounce .999 Fine Silver Minted for Lockheed September 1990. The other one says: 25th Anniversary SR-71 Once Troy Ounce .999 Fine Silver Minted exclusively for Lockheed December, 1989. Report this Post to the Staff

Blackbird coin (just in capsule) with an asking price of $65 but no takers. I found a couple of YF-22's weirdly enough on the ebay Ireland site listed for a tad more.
