This dime was graded MS66 by NGC. I thought it should be called PL. What do you all think? Also, is there a chance that it is an actual proof that was not attributed? Were the same dies used for the proofs and the circulation strikes, and if not where could I find diagnostics?
Thanks for the feedback about the pictures. I was focusing on letting the PL qualities show, and the pictures are not what they could be. This coin is super difficult to photograph. It is in a slightly scuffed slab, and sitting tilted in the holder. Between that and the reflective difficulty, this is a super difficult going to photograph. I plan on giving a second shot and I will post those pictures when they are ready.
Quick update: I brought this to a show yesterday, and the 2 dealers who looked at it agreed that it looked PL. I considered sending it in for a regrade, but one dealer made me a great offer on it, and it is gone.
