This coin and about 5 others from a role are missing the front part of the coat near the date is this common,
and what are they worth ms63-65

looks like die wear
1955 cents were often poorly struck for some reason I don't know.
the lighting on the picture is making it difficult to tell but it also looks like a "poor mans doubled die" which is really just a 1955 cent struck with heavily abraded dies
