I just wanted to say hello. I have been metal detecting for over the past 20 years and have a wide variety of different coins from 1801 Spanish real onward. I guess my best coin would be my 1901S 10 dollar gold piece. I have really no particular coins that I'm interested in, I just like old coins! I have bought a few coins along the way also! That's pretty much it! Just looking forward to exploring this site! Oh by the way, I just ran across the site while looking for error coins!

Finding a gold coin is a dectorist's dream. Good for you. Would love to join the club one day. Gold jewelry is one thing, but a coin ... awesome. A $10 coin, ten times as awesome. Beach or land? Did it come out looking like it was dropped yesterday?
