Not the extra earlobe, but this looks like a die chip just below the earlobe.

More than likely it is a trapped gas bubble. Try pressing it with a tooth pick. If it collapses, it is a gas bubble, if not then it is some sort of die dent.

Thanks BJ- Same result as my 1992 LMC that Mike D said to do with the tip of a toothpick.

This is solid metal- no collapse and or give whatsoever, the object remained in place. Die Dent.
