I don't see any wear even on the photo blow ups. MS-63. Eye appeal because of the ugly tone is low but it is still a nice coin.

It looks like scratches on the "LL" in DOLLAR and one scratch north to south across the back of the eagle. And the toning is not attractive at all.

grade wise possibly MS63. looks like some weakness in strike (typical) but also exhibits signs of improper storage which would affect value not grade.

MS-63 sounds right to me as well. What's with those dark triangles?

au details stained. besides the staining, the coin appears to have limited luster.

I think if the acetone didn't work, only dipping in an acid solution would be the only choice, but that would result in a cleaned coin. I don't recommend it. Conservation is not likely to remove the stains.

Luster looks impaired in a large area in the left obverse field above IN GOD WE.

I would enjoy the coin as it is. I recommend you don't try to "improve" it.

The 1921 Peace dollar is an important coin as one year type coin, but it is not rare in this condition.

Depending on the luster, I could go AU-58 or MS-63. Hard to tell with these pics.
