1959 D LMC Question, Die Crack And Chips?

I have these 2 1959 D cents with questions regarding whether or not they are the same type of error or error at all? Would appreciate help with what they would be called. My thoughts were that the first one is a chip and the second a crack? I appreciate and value all your knowledge!

Sorry about the glare, they are very shiny coins.

First picture shows a Die Chip, second picture shows a Die Crack slowly starting to form into a Die Chip.

Thanks Errers, are these very common? Seems odd I found 2, in the same area, so close together and very new looking coins.
