Hello all.I need help as stated I recently was gifted a Platinum Issue 1998 Isle of Man Birman Cat 1/25Th Crown that was graded & slabbed by NCG so I'm fairly certain it's not a counterfeit. Asides from that, the fact the Cat Coins were minted by The Pobjoy Mint, & I've found it listed for sale on a few sites other than ebay, I've been able to uncover nothing about this coin. Now I've found info on the Nickel, Silver, & Gold variants of this coin & denominations. Does anyone out there know anything about the 1/25th Oz. Platinum 1998 Isle of Man Birman Cat 1/25Th Crown? I'd really like to know it's mintage numbers in particular. Can Someone PLEASE HELP ME with this dilemma? I'd be much obliged. Thank You!

to CCF. Why not try to contact the Pobjoy Mint with your question? That's what I would try next.

Did you mean NGC? You said NCG.
As to your question, sorry, from me no information on that coin.

None of the 1/25 crown platinum cat series list mintages. The 1/25 crown platinum flower fairies series does list mintages and they are pretty consistent at 7,500 pieces. That would probably be a fairly good low estimate for the cat coins. The gold versions run about 20,000 so I would say the platinums would be somewhere between those two figures.
