Interesting! There is nothing out there that I can find on this anomaly. Question, the stem and the wheat lines, are they raised or incused?

You also have Die Cracks on Lincoln head. That's called a "Cracked Skull". P

Is the cracked skull good or bad. On the penny not on me.

They do appear raised with a beginning and an end to them. I think I'll email Mike Diamond and have him take a look.

Thank you, I don't know much yet but I know it is important to show the whole penny. I found cracked skull but it does not say whether it is a good error or not.

Boxercar12, that depends. If you like collecting them, then it's good, but if you don't like them, then it's bad, since they are sometimes veiwed as a distraction on the coin by some coin collectors. Check out this website. http://cuds-on-coins.com/lincoln-ce...k-1909-1958/

It's called a die crack. Very little extra value on that. The reverse is what is interesting.

You seem to have a set of relatively thick, softly defined ridges lateral to the stem of the right wheat ear. You also have some narrow grooves to the right of the wheat ear. These accessory features may not be related. The narrow grooves look like scratches inflicted after the strike. I'm not sure about the nature and origin of the broad ridges. The state of wear probably precludes a definitive conclusion.

Does that mean there is no way to determine the bottom lines. I do think the top are scratches but I thought maybe the bottom lines might be unrelated

In the third photo, is the line leading from the wheat a lamination error ?
