I'm not a coin roll hunter, but asked the bank teller for a roll of half dollars just on a whim. Nothing worth getting excited about, but was surprised to find a 1968 40% silver example. So I guess they are still out there.

Nice man, I did that to once, only once, planning to do it again but all I got were some ok 1970-1980 EFs-AUs.

They are out there, so are silver dimes in quantity.
In the last ten years I've received about a dozen solid silver half dollar rolls from tellers, along with several thousand silver halves.
When I listen to LED ZEPPELIN...so do my neighbors...
Roll hunting since '77
Dirt fishing since '72
