How about a forum for reviews of coin books?

One book per topic, where forum members could add their own reviews on the book. Pictures of book cover and contents could be included.

Guidelines on what is allowed to be reproduced under copyright might be a good idea. Much as I would like somebody to reproducefor free the half-dozen pages I specifically want, the author/s may not agree!

The reason I suggest this is that over the last couple of years I have been buying books, often by post, to improve my library rather than spending money on coins. I have been delighted with with what I bought most of the time. Occasionally I have been very disappointed as a book is not what it appeared to be, or illustrations poor et cetera. Comments from forum members who already have the book could lead to better-informed buying.

There is a section here for books already where members ask questions or discuss materials they have read.
