So what is the deciding factor for a TPG to slab and grade one 'cleaned' coin but refuse to slab and grade another similarily 'cleaned' coin? IndianGoldEagle Bedrock of the Community United States 36832 Posts	Posted 12/19/2018 10:06 am AU-55 details, cleaned. I believe TPG's will grade and slab any coin even those cleaned and damaged. They just won't slab altered (added/removed mm, etc) or fake coins. Report this Post to the Staff

IndianGoldEagle Bedrock of the Community United States 36832 Posts	Posted 12/19/2018 4:41 pm . Whizzing is done with a high speed wire brush trying to replicate cartwheel luster by removing part of the surface. Cleaning just brightens the coin leaving the luster lifeless but bright. It also adds hairline scratches from the cleaning and drying process. Report this Post to the Staff
