My Grandfather had this coin and collected from all countries including US Currency after he came back from WW1. I decided to look at it closer and by what I think I am seeing is course reeding. What makes me think this the distance from center to center of the reeds. Granted, it is worn and I may very well be wrong. Thoughts?
