silverdollar22 You are correct in your assessment of the coin as a fake, but you should be more precise and refer to the item as a Numismatic Forgery. It is part of a series of Crown sized replicas which are often sold as if they were genuine. In the US they should be clearly marked COPY or they should be destroyed. They are worth melt in my opinion, about 2 cents however, I do pay a couple dollars over melt for new varieties.

makes it harder when its under a 2x2, as I'm guess your probably aren't familiar with series so your just going by slight/tone of coin if silver or not. Wait Somalia >.<

These fakes keep getting better, this one looks a little off color wise though.
