Hello! Pulled this out of a CR. My guess is MS62 RD? Might be lower....any opinions appreciated! Happy hunting!

I would say it is closer to MS65, maybe higher. It shows some split plating on the reverse over the Ts in STATES, so it needs to be protected from the elements.

A little off topic, sorry. I have wondered for awhile now if that uneven look to the surface is a plating issue or a zinc core issue. Your coin shows it well, so I thought I would ask the question.

Good question, I'm certainly not the one to answer. Agree this coin has few of the usual grading defects but lacks a certain amount of appeal given the surface undulations.
Rest in Peace

Thanks everyone! I also wondered what makes the surface like that. I though it was plating bubbles but now I'm not too sure. I was also worried about the split plating. I might hang on to the coin. Happy hunting!

MS-66RD but with poor eye appeal for that grade, if that makes any sense.

Closer to 65/66 than 62. Nice looking example well worth saving!

Great! I was expecting something low-pulled it out of a coin rolll made me think it was going to be heavily circulated. Liked the red color though. Thanks, I'll hang on to it! Happy hunting!
