The CNAB was established to advise the publisher and editors of Whitman Publishing on topics relating to Canadian coins and tokens, medals, paper currency, and related numismatic items. These include colonial and provincial coinage; bank and trade tokens; money of the French regime; private and semi-regal tokens; pre-decimal and decimal coinage of the 1800s; British colonial items, circulating and otherwise; patterns; bullion coins; error coins; coinage sets; and circulating issues of the Dominion of Canada from its formation in 1867 to date.

That's quite a field of expertise... I don't known any individuals who might attempt to claim expertise in ALL of those areas of Canadian numismatics and paper money... (maybe David Bergeron at the Bank of Canada Currency Museum, but even he is not familiar with error coins and varieties...)

I don't know if I can rise to all that, but I do know a little about errors. However, I am no Canuck.

I think what Whitman is looking for is a group of experienced collectors, dealers, researchers, etc with varying areas of expertise in the aforementioned fields. Hopefully, Canadians aren't too shy about applying. It's great that Whitman is reaching out. Take advantage of the opportunity.
