OK, it's more of a jewel than a penny but it bears many of the same characteristics. Around the rim it has in a semi gothic font:
QUI DILIGIT DEUM DILIGAT ET FRATREM SUUM
(Whom loves God must also love their Brother)
It is the keystone that puzzles me. Instead of the more usual HTWSSTKS, it has Hebrew calligraphy that looks slightly off. I can discern Sida, Kaf and maybe Reish but the others are a mystery to me. Any Hebrew scholars watching?
