A seller listed this coin as Four Gani of Ghiyath al-Din Tughluq, but after examining known types of this particular coin I wasn't able to find it in the listings.
I also bought an actual Four Gani of Ghiyath al-Din Tughluq. They just don't look the same to me. Am I wrong?
You're right. The second coin matches the photo in Goron & Goenka's "The Coins of the Indian Sultanates" number D311, four gani of Ghiyath al-Din Tughluq, minted 720-727 AH. I agree, the first coin is different. It appears to match the four gani of Qutb al-Din Mubarak, AH 716-720, coin D277.
