Brown would be the designation of it in a holder or in general....look at the 4th photo I captured some of it....It's brown straight on....and at the angles bluish at the bottom and a lighter violet at the top in the hair......It happens with these sometimes.

Frankly, I doubt the toning will increase the value much. But I like the coin

The toning does not increase the valuie on these much at all if any.....I just got this one opposed to another because it stood out a little from the rest that day.

Coppers tone in all different ways depending on how and what they were exposed to but when it comes to grading and assigning color its Brown, Red/Brown or Red. in order to pull an RB designation it must show original red between 5% and 90% red on both sides. although the coin has a reddish undertone your coin does not exhibit enough red to make an RB designation.
