Egypt 50 Piastres gold coins, Ahmad Faud I, 1923-1342, is that correct? Can someone help me what is the value? Iam not really sure about is it gold or not, how can I make sure? The coin size is 20 mm. I will got more egypt piastres gold coins with different year on, I will post them separately and I would like to get more info about those too. A 50 piastre gold coin of this date would look like this: https://www.coinarchives.com/ff1474...age00681.jpg Perhaps you have a silver 2 piastre (2 Quirsh) coin that has been made to look like gold https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces22669.html The silver bullion content of these coins is worth about 1 pound. If you go to the ebay website and search on Egypt 2 piastres 1923, you can find the current value in your local market, which is likely a bit higher.
