Is this normal, or double die? Both S' are the same:

AU Details - Cleaned
I will pass on the DD comments and leave that to someone with more knowledge and experience in that area.

Thanks! Even though a decent looking, somewhat shiny coin, is it worth selling for more than melt, or should I just place in melt bag? It might be worth something as a hole filler for someone until they can find an MS coin? Or just offer at melt price? I just don't want to wrong anyone, I want to be perfectly honest about them to the buyer if sold.

AU Details as well, not a Doubled Die, just MD. It's worth a premium over melt.

A Morgan has to be in a pretty sad state for it to only be worth melt in my opinion. What you have is still an interesting, higher grade, mostly original piece of history. For those reasons, to me, it is not equivalent to a clump of silver.
That being said, it is a rather common date so you cannot expect the premium over melt to be large.

AU-55 and a straight grade would not surprise me.

Edit: It's a long ways away from a melt bag in my opinion.

AU-55 straight grade. I don't see direct evidence of cleaning.
