Yes, please post more pics as some of what you are describing is not in the provided pics. Also, more punctuation in the description would be nice.

I see feeder finger gouges (damage) on the obverse running into Washington's face. The reverse pic shows a die crack running from the rim, through the U and N and into the wing.

Yep. That's what you have. Definitely worth keeping in a 2x2 for educational purposes. http://www.error-ref.com/die-scrapes/

Here are two more images hope you can see them ok question ,those feeder finger marks or what ever they might be ,must have been there before the coin was hammered in order for the lines to be exposed in the low spots such as the eye area and be erased in the high relief area and continue behind his head am I right? Hopefuly you can see the tip of the wing die crack and I'm not sure whats on the rim ,then there is the die crack going through the O in dollar up to the olive branck, and it might even be a spitting eagle variety as well thanks for looking and I'm still trying to get some better pics of the coin

I'm a little confused on how something that is raised can be called scraped or scratched I thought both of those would resemble a gouge or something subsurface not raised please explain ty

For reference, this is generally what feeder fingers look like (without the coin image):

1996-P-Washington-Quarter

These metal feeders occasionally come into contact with the coin die surface and make scratches/gouges. The scratch/gouge is on the die, not the coin. When the coin is struck with that die, the scratch becomes a positive relief effect (raised). A scratch (impression) on the die will create a raised area on the coin struck with that die...inverse relationship.

Well after seeing what a feeder finger looked like I'm afraid I'd have to disagree with you I dont see how these fingers scratched the die in this manner how did the fingers scrape in front of Washington's face then then scrape through his eye and behind his head these Mark's dont resemble the feeder fingers at all ,if the die was scratched how did it scrape the low parts of the image and not the whole image thanks but I dont quite see it can you show me a coin with feeder finger Mark's so I can see what you mean again ty everyone
