i am thinking of selling all the coins I wanna dispose of to a buyer but the buying price is I guess a little bit lower than the melt value even though most of the coins are in AU-UNC-BU condition and also some are key dates so I guess i'll just try selling some here...

his current buying price because the silver declines was 580php per ounce that's about 13USD... ok for me for the GOOD-VERY GOOD condition coins but for FINE - BU I guess its pretty low..

i am currently listing at ebay and I already sold some this month (Buy it Now listings) but pretty slow... I don't know why...i even have little offers... perhaps my listings are high? would you mind checking it and letting me know?

http://search.ebay.ph/_W0QQsassZtre...unterscorner

I've got more but wew! its hard to list thousands of coins...

anyone interested in Philippines/United states coins from 1903-1945 1 centavo, 5 centavos, 10 centavos, 20 centavos, 50 centavos..

pls let me know...

thank you...

Baguio - What do you have in the earlier series (Heraldic shield reverse) in AU-BU ? Don't happen to have an 1906-S Peso laying around do you ?

I was given a tin box of US-PI coins when I was little with hundreds of coins, mostly WWII, even a few US quarter and halves were in the box. I still have most of it today.
I have a Central Bank commemorative (25 Piso). Is that worth anything ?

i guess every coin has a value depending on the person whom the coins belong to.. its not because its silver or gold or its metal content is precious...

for me as long as it carries history on it... it has value

With the shipping, your listings do seem a little on the high side. If you do the math for the silver price and include the shipping, there are better deals out there, so I guess you're suffering for a couple of reasons--not the least of which is that buyers have been sort of trained to look askance at Asia-located sellers. Also you probably won't get very many high offers on your 1903 Pesos because in their condition, they too are sadly just a bullion coin. They look to have been cleaned in the past from the pictures.

Looks like someone took some steel on the 1903. Too bad...
Cleaning/polishing of coins was normal practice in the Philippines a few years back. The shinier, the better was the thinking.
