One time in july 07 I had bid on a coin and won I just wanted the coin so I had to make numerous bids on ebay with numerous sellers before I won it I still have it today and then last week one+ year later I get this email from this seller claiming to be with ebay and it said you won the item is yours its the

same coin that I purchase back in july 07 but its not from ebay its from someone elses email address claiming to be with ebay he said it would be shipped on 7-15-08 the slip came from the post office in my mail box a few weeks ago to go pick it up and it was the same sender/ficticious company

so called sreen name on the email its probably still sitting down at the post office dont you have to bid on an item not to mention buy it now or pay threw paypal I think he wants me to go sign for it at the post office and then bill me for it like I'm going to go sign for it I'm sure times must be tough with this

guy to be pushing coins on people like that some nerve although its a pretty clever technic it reminded me of littelton coin co they send me out some sample coins every once in a while is there anything I can do about this kind of practice in anyones experience here on ccf ?

I'm confused...head...hurting...longest sentence...ever...

Hollywood, what exactly happened? Someone is trying to sell you a coin through the mail that you already bought last year?

It sounds like that is exactly what happened. Hollywood, have you notified ebay? Is there a listing number for this "win" they say you have? Is the seller still active on ebay? There should be easy ways to investigate if you have all of the details. If I'm not mistaken, this is quite illegal.

Hollywood, have you tried to pick it up from the post office yet? I am curious to see what has even been shipped to you!

Hi all,
Correct me if I'm wrong but I think if you receive an item in the mail that you did not order, you get to keep it and not pay for it because you did not order it.

Unsolicited items received in the mail are the property of the recipient without obligation for payment.

Most folks don't take advantage of this with companies like Littleton Coin, but a few do. Caution: Once you accept their initial offering, you have automatically opened Pandora's box for all future mailings ... i.e. you've agreed to accept their mailings and are liable for payment if you keep the offerings.

Send whatever he sent to you unopened, and don't sign anything. Don't pay for the return mail either; just refuse it! This sounds very much like it could be a scam.

I even paid an extra $7.00 more for priority shipping on the coin that didnt come that I closed my 1st account on ebay and the seller didint have time to send it I think that the seller had reconsidered selling it because it was a popular item and he probably had multiple buyers for it or maybe he wanted to do some reseach to see what he realy had so he could up his asking price because it was the only coin set in his ebay store other than lamps and teddy bears and such.
Rest in Peace

I'm sorry, but you might as well be writing in
all caps when you don't separate your thoughts
with punctuation... at least. I don't follow.

If you post with good grammar and separate your thoughts then people might be able to reply to your posts easier.

I have a similar problem with my computer cuz everytime I go to use any key but the letter ones its like it gets stuck and stuff and I'm so confused and angry and quite truthfully fed up that I just dont know what to do but if it keeps gonig on and I heve to use conjunctions to continue the sentence and I cant punctuate or for cripes sake even capitalize then I think that my head is just going to explode or something which is pretty much the way that I feel when I talk to my 16 year old daughter and her friends come over and then they start to talk like theyre texting and I cant get a word in edgewise and I have to go and leave the room and sit on the computer and it all starts over again if you know what I mean I just feel spent
