I have this odd coin & don't know where it's from or how old it is. Can't find it in my book.Any input?

I don't know either but an image of both sides will help when the right person here comes along.
It does look like it is a yellow "metal" applied over copper, so it mat be a fake from the era of the coin it was imitating. The yellow is wearing away from the high points of the "coin".
How did you come across this one?
