1991 Penny With Bump And Rim Splitting

AngelaDerby New Member United States 16 Posts	Posted 01/21/2019 12:52 am Hi everyone. I found this coin and was wondering if this was just damaged. It is splitting on the rim on both sides of the coin. There is also an elevated area like a bump above the one going towards the A in America. It also looks a little bit like a shadow of the numbers in the date. The D mintmark looks a little off too but I'm thinking that it may be just worn. Half of the Shower in states and the O in of are missing and the E in America has an extra line, it seems. The penny is ugly but it has, what I find, interesting flaws. What do you think?
