1989 Penny With Some Faint Lettering

On this penny the lettering on the end of "states " and "of" on the reverse side are faint and on the front of the penny down near Lincoln's shoulder area is slightly more bulged out at the rim then the area at the top where it says "IN GOD WE TRUST" though it's hard to see in the picture. What do you all think?

Okay, interesting. Good to know. Is it because of the Lincoln's suit uses up more metal on the reverse side maybe?
