Been lurking for a while trying to learn, but this is my first post. I'm not holding my breath for any sort of value, just curious if my guess is correct.

I believe the extra rim with reeding inside indicates an edge die clash? Am I even getting the terminology correct? Any correction or further explanation as to what caused this error (at least I assume mint error, I can't think what could cause this after) would be much appreciated!

I'm thinking it's a collar clash. I'm not an expert so don't take my word for it but thats what it looks like to me. Nice find! Happy hunting!

Ah *collar* die clash, that's what I thought before and forgot the name of! Yes, thank you! I am guessing they are somewhat common at least, especially on the obverse? Boy, it seems like hammer dies get thrashed on a regular basis, poor things.
