2018 D Pennies Rolls From Loomis Is It Possible They All Have Shield Cracks

ChangedByCents New Member United States 15 Posts	Posted 01/27/2019 11:13 am I bought my first box of pennies this past week. I opened the box and at first was sad because they were all 2018 d. Then I googled them and read about some errors and I opened 1 roll and seen a crack on the top left of the shields on every one in the roll. I have not opened any of the other rolls. Should i? They also have marks that stick out on the rims if thats the correct term like they are not truely round if that makes sense. I am 3 weeks new to coins so I'm looking for all the wisdom and help I can receive. Do I need to add pictures to help explain what I'm seeing? Are they worth putting up for my son? Thanks in advance. If the shield crack you observe is due to a defect of a particular die, you'll probably get several examples in the box, but not a whole box of them. Report this Post to the Staff
