My mother recently found a box of old coins in my grandmother's attic. Most are mid 1800s US coins, but there were also a few Canadian coins, an Austrian coin, an Italian coin, and a Brazilian coin.

This coin is very slightly larger than a Half Cent but seems to be about the size of a quarter. I literally cannot make heads or tails of this coin. I used a few different lighting techniques to try to bring out as much detail as possible. I am hoping someone can help solve this mystery! Thank you so much!!

I don't recognize it as anything early US. Hopefully some experts on 18th and 19th century copper will chime in soon!

Could you post bigger pictures?
I think I can see a head looking right on the first picture.
The shape makes me think of about 1650 to 1850 period.
If you can search internet for suchs heads
If it is from the UK then you should know that each ruler looks to the other direction than his (here's) predecessor
It does not look like Georges III of England.

Italian states had a lot of rulers...

I think it looks like a William and Mary Irish halfpenny.

The conjoined busts, when worn almost flat, look like a very round blob. A single portrait is taller than it is wide even when worn.

The reverse shows the crowned harp.

See https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces41084.html on Numistma as an example.
