This is officially my second post I believe, learning how to navigate this forum. Hopefully this is the correct category to post in. The picture quality is not the best.

A quick summary, I was searching through some of my coins and discovered the date was not legible. I automatically assumed this was an error, and figured I get some professional feedback and clarification on this particular coin. From my understanding legitimate errors can fetch a decent price. Not sure if this is common or this is a significant find. I new to hobbie and was looking for silver junk orConstitutional silver. The coin on the left is the error, one on right was for comparison. Thanks in advance lol.

Unless it's solder or some other gunk, I believe that would be an unlisted

piece. I hope the appropriate eyes are following this.

edit, I take that back. I've '64 on the brain this morn.

It might be a Cud (Major Die Break). We'll need better pictures for sure.

Appreciate the feedback was surprisingly helpful, I'm not sure how to individually reply to certain comments. But the links were informative, it pointed me in the right direction. I decided to give the coin back to the original owner who gave it to me. Still wondering what a rough estimate of its value. Just curious lol.

Can't estimate the value until we know for sure what it is. That's why better questions were requested.
