i was looking through my coins and came across this nickle. I'm not sure on technical terms of types of errors but I noticed a strange discolored spot left of the chin. any thoughts?

To CCF! Not an error at all. Just a stain, which is Post Strike Damage ( PSD). Value is 5 cents.
