I got This in a 4 for a dollar tray of buffalos. I've been bouncing back between whether this is just worn or it's a type 1. Date is illegible. Any help is appreciated. Thanks! -CH27 Collector of U.S. Coins, Varieties, and Colonial Coinage

Thanks everyone! Here's an Obverse picture: I don't have my hands on any nice-a-date right now, but I prefer not to nic-a-date buffalos as it decreases value significantly, even if my coin is worth little to nothing. Thanks for everyone's inputs! -CH27

No reason to drip acid on your coin if you already know what it is
