Here's a nice flying eagle. Original seller's photo of the obverse could be better...the reverse not so bad. Edited by DoctorBurnzy 02/02/2019 11:51 pm

It's mine Coinfrog, but it's in a bank. I haven't taken a photo of it....but I have a lot of photos like this....I don't want to post original seller's photos. You know this. I could post like this for a while, but the question would arise ...are they really yours etc...this is why I don't post them or try not to post them. I'd love to have one in MS...I'll upgrade one day soon, but I'm a little more partial to the Indian cents than these....so those get in the way sometimes. I updated the photos of my Buffalo nickel that was in question a couple months ago on the second page of comments today.....just for the reason the original photos not mine but the original seller's photos....If I knew how to turn a snipit into a jpeg I'd leave the original seller's photos up, because they're better than mine would be lol..that's a true statementand just put snipit of my main page with the winning amount so one would know it was me....If that is possible could someone comment on how to do that. that would save me the time of trying to get good shots when I already have the original seller's photos and I could just use the snipit shot of the purchase as proof....it would save me a lot of time...lol...Sorry Coinfrog I meant original seller's photo and not stock photo. I'm updating the terms I used in comments. Nothing is a stock photo and where I used that term I'm changing it to original seller's photo where I see it and if you ever catch me saying stock photo ...it would be an error on my part and I mean in every instance original seller's photo.

Doc - All I can say is, and I mean this sincerely, that you need to learn how to take better photos (other than this "stock photo") if you want thoughtful replies to the coins in your collection.

Coinfrog I just taught myself how to make a snipit into a jpeg photo....that will save me a lot of time....... when I post an original seller's photo which is far better than my photo abilities....They're professionals.....but I can just add a snipit jpeg to their photo for proof. It's still a good coin though I'm happy with it. I will however get some different photos of this one day...The obverse shot just doesn't do it for me.

It's not for sale, but I'm glad you like it...because I do as well. I like the good ones, the real good ones, and sometimes the average ones if they catch my eye. When I say" Is this not good enough for you?" I don't mean good enough for you to buy from me...I mean good enough to be represented on the site from me. This is show n' tell...not buy n' sell. that's a different forum one of which I just recently have enough posts now to take part in if I choose.

Those pictures are a prime example of just how good an AU-58 can be. Without seeing the slab I would have been guessing MS-something. And the "something" would have been up around 65. Mine is an MS-63 and I don't have a picture of it. It and all of its FE and IHC friends are in a bank safe deposit box.

Don't worry about it llewellin....and kanga...very nice....they jump in price at MS-63 or MS in general. that's a real good one.....keep em safe there....I only like to have a handful out at a time before going back in to the banks....When I get rid of this one, it will be with the upgrade of the coin to the next level....hopefully a 63.....somewhere in the $900 $1100 range....when I get better shots of the obverse one day I'll see what you think then and others as well....maybe it needs to be cracked and resubmitted to PCGS....but that's for another time and a consensus on the grade will be needed.

@DoctorBurnzy I believe you are creating confusion when you say you are posting "stock photos." Stock photos would be a generic representation of the coin you purchased and useless here. What you have posted are the "seller's photos." Big difference. From now on, if the pics are of the actual coin you purchased but the pics are not yours, use "seller's pics" or something to that effect, not "stock."

You're right....they are the original seller's photos...I have a bunch of those...I really don't like to use them unless I have to......and I will add my own to them at some point to a post if I do use them....just to show true ownership...and perhaps to get a better photo if I think I can do it.
