When it comes to grading the solid radar number from 1111111 to 9999999, the most popular one undoutedly should be 8888888, the second one should be 7777777, what about the third one? The fourth one?...The last one?

When it comes to grading, the serial doesn't make any difference. Only the physical condition is being graded.
With a solid serial, you can't add the "radar" tag because, obviously, every solid is by nature a radar. It's like calling a full house a pair plus three of a kind. No, it's a full house.
As to what solid would be the most desirable... I don't think it matters beyond personal preference. There is only one example of each, so they are equally rare. Why do you say that 8s would be most popular?

 Popularity would depend on what country you are in. All 8's I think would be popular in Japan,7's in the U.S. etc. John1  Edited by John1

In my experience, all other things being equal on radar notes, 8's are best, followed by 7's, 9's, the rest down to 1's and then 4's last. Fours are considered "unlucky" numbers in Chinese/Asian culture.

Solid 8's always command a premium. Even the Charlton Catalog say so: "Notes with serial number 88888888 will command an additional 25% premium."

So, I am assuming that 8s being the most desirable is based on Asian culture (not just Japan). Is that correct? As John1 said, 7s may be more popular in the US because of cultural and religious connection. Personally, I would prefer solid 3s. Even better would be solid 0s. I thought Solid 0's would be the most preferred.
I thought Solid 8's are preferred because they are solid, radar and rotator in addition to any other reason of cultural preference.

Most collectors when they start collecting a series like solid numbers will end up trying to complete the whole set but the solid 8 and 7 seems to have greater appeal for said reasoning.

001 and so on are kept by the BOC for giving to bigwigs, have seen 10,000000 with a hand punch 1 in 54 series but a circulation 0000000 note would be neat to see, a pic would be cool ?
