I didn't spot this one but it was pointed out to me by a friend. A good friend indeed! The coin is an upgrade for my collection and is NGC slabbed without the RPM attribution. Since some folks like to guess the grade I'll wait until tonight to post what is on the slab. Sorry about the iffy photos but I'm not set up to do slabs as everything I work with is RAW.

Not quite enough red for me, so I'll say 63BN, but a great find whatever the grade.

Is there a doubled eye lid or is there something on the slab? Grade 62BN! Great pickup.

Thanks all for the kind words! It's a nice one and I'm pretty darn happy about adding it to the collection. The experts at NGC graded it... MS-64 BN. I think coinfrog was closest. I don't mind the BN at all, and in fact it's pretty darn hard to get a BN that high (there are only 5 that have scored 65). These have been selling for around $40 on ebay lately and that's what I paid for it, so overall a heckuva deal.

Hey ramjet! I looked at the coin and there is nothing at all going on with the eye so must just be an artifact of imaging through the slab.

Congratulations. A really nice example of that RPM.

(You already answered the grade but 64BN is what I figured. Decent overall with not enough Red.)
