Would this coin still grade (G-4 $45)? or does the damage make it scrap value?

It appears to be a holed coin that was repaired, or least an attempt was made to repair it.

Scrap at a coin shop. You might do better selling it on ebay.

Scrap. I don't think you could get anymore on ebay and after fees you would likely net less than scrap. Doomed to the melting pot, surprised it survived this long. Maybe redrill the hole and put on a keychain, since scrap value is only around $2.50

1841 is a better date for quarters. It's worth more than scrap but that spot really does hurt the value. It likely would be worth more with a hole there.

Agree it would be a hole-filler for some LSQ collector. Value maybe $15?

Looks like a filled hole and one that has spent some time stuck rolling around in a laundry machine.

Probably someone has heard that to test Silver coins you should bounce them off a sidewalk.
