tropicalbats Pillar of the Community United States 6116 Posts	Posted 02/16/2019 8:29 pm Well, technically not a cherrypick, but to borrow a word from the commercial fishing industry it was bycatch. Just one of those extra coins you end up with when you cherrypick something that is in a set of coins. I always check those as well and this one turned up. Report this Post to the Staff

tropicalbats Pillar of the Community United States 6116 Posts	Posted 02/16/2019 9:56 pm It is a repunched mint mark (RPM) listed by CONECA as RPM-003, which is just sorta visible as a secondary S a tiny bit left of the primary S. That little curved groove along the upper curve of the S is where you can see it best. Not exactly breathtaking, eh? But it's a listed RPM so... Oh yeah, and the last image is of a set of die gouges on the lower left of the reverse. These are the die marker for this variety that verifies what it is.
