*** Edited by Staff to clarify topic title. Titles are important! ***i recently used a nickel date restorer on a lot of Buffalo nickels and found a lot of key dates one is a 1918/7 d. i did the whole surface of the coin so it looks uniform no big spot on date. Should I send it off to have it authenticated.

, ! Probably not as no TPG would grade it (except maybe ANACS but don't quote me). I'd like to see it though Edited: Even in AG3 they are selling for ~$500 (but they're problem free)

I'd love to see a pic! Press 'Switch To Full Reply" under the reply box on this thread. There will be an upload picture option on the next screen. There's also this tutorial if you are having problems figuring it out: https://www.coincommunity.com/forum...g-images.aspI have seen acid treated coins in TPG holders, but do a little research to see which companies will or will not holder acid-treated coins before sending it in, if that's what you decide to do.

If you can show us a clear up close pic of date area and full coin pics of obverse and reverse , that would be great . If it is a 1918/7-D there is a dealer in California who specializes in Buffalo nickels who would gladly give you top dollar for it . Congrats on your other finds .
