Its a 2007 Lincoln Penny with a sort of tones and colors. Not sure about nothing with this penny but sure would appreciate some real honest guidance if someones able and accurate.. I really appreciate it, thanks.. Matt!

It's been exposed to a variety of environmental conditions. Possibly spent some time in a car cup holder.

Cup holder I think is pretty accurate.

I've often wondered about the chemical reactions but it's anybody's guess where these things have been...

My findings indicate sulfur gives copper the dark/black coloration, chlorine gives the greens.

I've seen some amazing reds, but I don't really know what causes that reaction yet.

Temperature also plays a roll in what you end up with.

It's hard to tell exactly what caused the toning or stains as
there can be many things that can cause this so just put it
down as "Environmental Damage".

First it is a cent not a penny. It does look like environmental damage. A spender.
