Hello I am new to collecting coins. I stumbled upon a coin in which I am having trouble with what is truly on the obverse side. I would really like to know the opinions of other coin collector's.

I agree it does, however it also seems to resemble the Lincoln memorial from reverse side . I am unclear on what us considered cleaning the coin. The double due is obvious in the 6 of 1969 and in the word TRUST.

The date looks like MD,and the coin already looks cleaned. You might want to try an 100% pure acetone soak?

By MD he means Machine Doubling which is caused by worn out dies. No big thing because it happens all the time. You have to get used to members using a few letters, like MD, rather than explaining something. On some coins it happened and is really mistaken for a real Doubled Die such as the famous "poor man's doubled die" in the 1955 penny.
