Question For The Morgan Fans: Just How Many Clashes Are There?

SsuperDdave Moderator United States 23522 Posts	Posted 01/14/2006 9:09 pm I'm looking at a lot of Morgans these days, and noticing that virtually every year has clashed-die examples. Is this really that common, or should I start posting my finds in here so other friendly collectors can help corner the market? Report this Post to the Staff

Becky Pillar of the Community United States 954 Posts	Posted 01/15/2006 09:30 am Clashes are very common, they can be found from every mint in the Morgan series. What you want to look for are the ones that transfer letters, like the clashed E, S, T, I and N. The clash has to be really hard to transfer the letters. The book on Super CD's just came out, so there is going to be a bunch of people looking for clashes now. I think that the really cool clashes are going to get expensive. So if you have some already, you'll be ahead of the curve. Report this Post to the Staff
