I have killed a couple of staplers sealing flips. Does anyone know of an indestructible model?
Note: I have noticed that while thicker, the u-do-it syle is easier on the stapler than the newer all plastic style flips.

I know that Staples has a stapler out that is able to staple through like 25 sheets of paper without any trouble. It is surprisingly easy to press down and use. It should serve any stapling needs that you have.

Staple's One touch Is perfect its GOOF proof and handles everything only thing bad is you manually have to press the ends down because it doesn't fit snugg with the cardboard

Just as a side note:
I recently read that there are models that create a flat clinch, which makes it easier to slide into pages. Another feature you may want to consider if you haven't done anything yet.

Thanks General et al. I'll look into it. I have one that is getting me by right now but if I go buy another I want it to be the last. I like the sound of the flat clinch, it would make more room for DIY's in the pages and the boxes. Organizing coins is sure a lot less thrilling than buying and searching them.

I second that!
I don't know how many times I've come home with a nice haul from the bargain bins at the coin store, and settled down with dread at my desk. It's nice seeing all the selections again; but putting them into the flips, labelling them, organizing them into your system, and finally putting them into their place is an activity that for me is most definitely less fun that pulling the coins out of the bin in the first place.
Personally I use a Swingline stapler, the common black metallic one as opposed to a plastic one (the plastic one actually lasted me several years however.) I then clinch the ends of the staples with a pair of pliers. I would love to find a stapler that clinched the staples flat and save the wear and tear on my hands!

G'day, EK: there's a nother recent thread about staplers, with a lot of detail about flat-clinch. Last post might be a month ago. Nancy bought one. They're great for whichever system of storage you use for your 2x2. Peter

I have a Swingline stapler that I got from a drug rep at work. By my estimates it has stapled 2000-3000 2x2s and is still going strong. Maybe if this one broke I'd get a flat-cinch, but I really like my Swingline stapler.
