Personally I think it looks fine, probably just lying around in a drawer for years and years. Needs a bit of conservation.

Obverse color is good, reverse color is a bit off but I'm thinking that's lighting.

I see fine lines behind Lincoln's head, North-South orientation in your closeup photos. Can't tell if those are cleaning hairlines on the coin or from die polishing.

Absolutely original, probably mishandled a bit. Acetone soak might help, Verdi-care a possible further step.

Nice coin but the carbon spot on the reverse hurts, deep hit to the right obverse field, subdued obverse luster and various small light stains. MS-62.

Just don't go messing with it, I see a nice, original patina and cartwheel spokes.
